I was a baseball player while attending University of Montevallo.  I was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 32nd round in the 1988 Major League Baseball Draft.  

I have been teaching Physical Education courses in the Bessemer City School System for 24 years.  I spent 13 years at Davis Middle School and 11 years at Jess Lanier/Bessemer City High School.  I have worked as an Assistant Football Coach for 16 years and a Bus Driver for 10 years.
