Bio
My name is Zeinab Zoghaib, I’m originally from Lebanon and moved to the United States six years ago. I live in Hoover, Alabama with my husband and my two daughters Sandy and Nancy. I attended the Lebanese University School of Sciences and my ambition was to be a but it didn't’t happen, and it will not happen in a country where politicians control education. So, I decided to finish my Undergraduate with a degree in chemistry, attended the school of education, and started teaching in public schools. When I moved to the United States, it was hard to get back on track. I got the certificate in teaching high school science and currently, I teach high school Environmental and Physical Science classes at Bessemer City High School, and currently working on my Masters of Education in Biological Science from UWA. I find myself in teaching and always very enthusiastic to work with my students and build good relationships with them and their parents. Teaching is my passion and my number one priority is the well-being and the education of my students. It’s my 3rd year teaching Environmental Science and I know it’s going to be a challenge since we are starting school virtually but at the end, we have to overcome these challenges. During my short period of teaching high school Environmental Science, I’am figuring out more the importance of our planet, where we share the resources and how to put plans to face challenges that are encountering our environment and ecosystems. I’am so excited to start this year and looking forward to work with our students to make this year a successful one.
