This is my 28th year in the Bessemer City School System.  The first 26 years were spent teaching on the Elementary School level.  WHAT A JOY!!

For the past two years I have taught Ninth Grade Honors English, Freshman English, and Tenth Grade English.  

Teaching is a calling from God.  With that in mind, I cling to Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."  "In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."  I LOVE MY STUDENTS.  I LOVE SHARING KNOWLEDGE!  I am so very blessed to be a part of the Bessemer City School District.
