I graduated from the University of Montevallo in May, 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.  I have taught in both middle school and high school during these years.  I started my career in the Hoover City School system at Bumpus Middle School where I taught 6th grade instructional support and served as a leader/coach during the school system's technology initiative and professional development retreat.  I then moved to Madison, Mississippi where I taught 6-8th grade special education resource at Germantown Middle School. I moved back to Alabama and taught in schools located in Tuscaloosa County and Pelham.  I am proud to be at Bessemer City Purple Tiger, and I look forward to working with all of the students and faculty this school year.  GO TIGERS!
