I am a graduate of Jess Lanier High School and Alabama A&M University.  I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Science, a Master of Education Degree in Instructional Leadership from University of Alabama, Birmingham, and a Educational Specialist Degree from Montevallo.  

I have had the wonderful pleasure to serve the students in the Bessemer City School System for 19 years.  During my tenure I worked as a science teacher and now as an Assistant Principal at Bessemer City High School.  

My main focus in the community are the young men.  I plan and inplement a yearly Young Men's Conference that focuses on our young men being the best that they can be.  The Bessemer Health Dept., Religious Leaders, and Community Businesses partner to make this conference a huge success each year.  I also spearhead the Toys for Tots Campaign through the Alethia House for children in need in the City of Bessemer.

I am a delegate for the Alabama Education Association and a member of the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Bessemer.
